Bruschetta with Roma Vinaigrette Salsa
These brushetta are substantial enough for a light meal. Enjoy!!
Ingredients:
1 Loaf day-old Sourdough or Ciabatta Thick Sliced
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/4 Teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Dried Sage
Method:
1. Combine the ingredients together and brush the olive oil mixture on the bread slice. Grill the slice (both sides) for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Serve with the Roma Viniaigrette Salsa.
Ingredients for The Roma Vinaigrette Salsa
3 Roma Tomatoes Diced
3 Fresh Basil Leaves (Thinly Sliced)
2 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
1/4 Cup Chopped Red Onion
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Chopped Fresh Parsley
3 Tbs Aged Balsamic Vinegar.
1 Tsp Salt
Method:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and cover. Let stand for 15 minutes, before serving.
